These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the purchase of products and all related transactions on the RUB A DUB TOKYO online store (“the Store”), operated by Rub a Dub Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”). Any additional policies we publish on the Store form part of these Terms.

1. Application

These Terms apply to every use of the Store and every purchase made through it. Where we publish additional rules or guidelines on the Store (such as our Shipping and Return policies), those form part of these Terms.

2. Definitions

• “Customer” means any individual who uses the Store or places an order for products.
• “Products” means the apparel and other goods sold on the Store.
• “Order” means a purchase request submitted by a Customer through the Store’s checkout process.

3. Conditions of Use

• If you are a minor, please use the Store and place orders only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• The following are prohibited: placing orders with false information; acting in violation of law or public order; interfering with the Store’s operation; infringing our rights or those of a third party; or any other conduct we consider inappropriate.
• We may cancel an order or take other necessary action if a Customer engages in, or we reasonably believe is likely to engage in, prohibited conduct.

4. When a Sale Contract Is Formed

A sale contract for a Product is formed once payment is completed after the Customer presses “Confirm Order and Proceed to Payment” on the final order-confirmation screen.

5. Price and Payment

• The purchase price of each Product is the amount shown on its product page (tax included).
• Payment is made by credit card or another method we support, through Stripe’s hosted checkout page.
• Payment is due at the time the order is confirmed.

6. Shipping

• We ship within Japan and internationally. Shipping fees are as shown in the Shipping guide and at checkout.
• For orders shipped outside Japan, any customs duties or import consumption tax charged on arrival are the Customer’s responsibility and are not included in the total shown on the Store.

7. Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are handled under our Return Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All product photography, logos, brand names and other content on the Store are owned by us or our licensors. None of it may be reproduced, repurposed or otherwise used without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

• Product colour and texture may appear slightly different from the actual item due to photography conditions or your device’s display settings; this alone is not grounds for a return or exchange.
• We are not liable for damage arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters or communication network failures.
• Except where required by law, we are not liable for damage arising from your use of the Store or purchase of Products, unless caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Personal Information

The handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. The revised Terms take effect once posted on this page.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
